For sale is a near mint condition 40mm stainless steel Rolex Explorer 2. The 16570 an X serial, was originally purchased from an US ORJ in 1993, comes with box and papers, and is fresh from factory service. The box is missing the original inner cushion, otherwise a great set. While at service, the Explorer received a new bezel, crown, and crystal in addition to the service. The hands and dial were not replaced at service. The Rolex features a brushed steel case with polished sides, and a fixed brushed steel finish 24 hour GMT bezel. The Explorer is mounted on a brushed steel Oyster bracelet with a safety lock deployment clasp. The bracelet contains 11 full size links and will comfortably fit a 7.5 inch wrist with the divers extension closed. The Rolex features a white "Polar" dial with applied black outline tritium hour markers, black tritium hands, as well as a date window aperture at 3 o'clock which is magnified by a cyclops crystal. The movement used in the 16570 is the Rolex Calibre 3185 which features 50 hours power reserve and is COSC certified. Over all the Rolex is in near mint condition, contains no noticeable imperfections to the naked eye, and is fresh from factory service.
