FS: Rolex 5500 Air-King circa 1979 on Original Oyster Bracelet - Only $1995!
For Sale:
Vintage Mens 34mm Rolex Reference 5500 “Air-King”. 6.0 million serial number was manufactured in 1979. This is an entry level mens automatic, but is modestly sized by modern standards so would probably be best for gents of small or medium stature…. Or ladies of course! Condition: Condition is “very good”, approximately 85% according to the TimeZone guidelines. It's a clean watch overall but does have many small nicks and dings, including on the clasp and acrylic crystal. Also, the caseback has a personal engraving as shown. Please note that the original silver dial/face is perfect - the blemish at 3 o'clock is on the plastic crystal, not the dial. Watch is functioning properly in all regards and keeps excellent time but I have no idea when it was last serviced. The genuine Rolex 78350 oyster bracelet is original to this watch (has a “VC” date code). Bracelet has 12 links total which I believe is 1 link short from being "fully linked". Will comfortably fit about a 7” wrist or perhaps a tad larger. Accessories: Watch only. No box or paperwork is included. Price & Terms: Priced to move fast at $1995 FIRM. Free domestic (USA) shipping is included. Payment via bank wire is preferred but paypal plus fees may be considered if buyer has good references. As far as my references, I have completed over 100 transactions with forum members and substantial positive feedback can be located by searching for my username "NKflyer" online or in the "who's who" section here on the forum. Please inquire if further info is needed regarding references. I do not accept returns unless watch is significantly not as depicted. Private message or email nkflyer@earthlink.net is the best way to contact me. Thanks! |
