FS: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona 16520 Patrizzi "T"

Repricing and still offering for sale this beautiful specimen of a RARE find...A Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona from the mid 1990's. A "T" serial number (approximately 1996), this all original Stainless Steel Rolex Patrizzi Daytona 16520 with Zenith movement , and with the original black dial and the brown discoloration in the subchapter rings is in perfect condition. This original Patrizzi dial was one to see very little direct sunlight (ultraviolet), allowing for the "Patrizzi effect" to turn the subchapter rings even more brown. The bracelet and buckle stamps are the correct "78390" for its period, with end link "503B". Guaranteed 1OO% authentic.

Stated
" When an Italian collector Osvaldo Patrizzi sold his Rolex collection in 2006. His collection included a 16520 black dialed daytona which had a brown discoloration in the subchapter rings. This discoloration was seen in some versions of the mark IV dials and were subsequently called "Patrizzi Daytonas." The watch attracted a lot of attention and sold for more than twice the cost of most normal daytonas.

There is some discussion about the black dialed S, N, T and W serial Daytonas which from a manufacturing defect the color of the subdials faded to brown or chocolate colors. Its postulated that this color shift has happened due to ultraviolet light exposure and the materials used by Rolex at time."

MOST IMPORTANTLY TO NOTE...THIS IS AN UNTOUCHED/NEVER SERVICED/ NEVER POLISHED SPECIMEN THE TACHYMETER ENGRAVED BEZEL SHOWS SUPERFICIAL SCUFFS (NOT DINGS OR DENTS), AND THE BLACK IS MOST DEFINETELY UNFADED OR "POLISHED AWAY". BRACELET HAS MINIMAL PLAY, AND NEVER POLISHED.
DIAL & HANDS HAVE NEVER BEEN TOUCHED.
Happy to provide more details or answer questions!
A great find for the right collector.

Watch only.

Asking $25,000

Bump...Hope you'll take the time to read...
After having some interest, and scrutiny as to "why the sub-dial rings are not more discolored", I came to question what I was offering...Not wanting to misrepresent.
I reached out to a trusted constituent, of whose opinion I have valued, and come to confirm that based on serial number series, and some obvious discoloration, that this is in fact a "Patrizzi". The case has never been polished, though the bracelet has.
Those looking for the "obvious fading" would have to be patient to see this change with time, as this watch hadn't seen light in quite some time.
Maintaining my post of a 16520 "T" serial "Patrizzi" at $25,000.
