Icon20 Fact prices are falling !!!!!!! Lets party !!!!

The title isn't my true reflection on the situation to be honest but this nonsense has gone on way to long , the ADs have been passing stock out of the back doors for the past few years and Joe public has been made to suffer , I myself have been a hard core rolex watch enthusiast for almost 30 years and the goings on have made me so angry that im no longer prepared to buy another rolex from any AD ever again , the windows will gradually start to refill and Joe publics telephone will start to ring again , this will all happen when the greys have no wages left in the watches , this is coming and the day cant come soon enough !
The rot is starting and no one wants to left with overpriced stock , the batman was 13k not long ago today I could have had one for 10.5k , happy days

Not all AD's are created equal, I bought a Sub Date and a Batman this year for retail with minimal wait.

One Rolex sale does not a bubble pop make, but it is an indication something is shifting in the market. It also calls into question the notion that the lack of AD availability and high aftermarket prices are the new normal.

I’ll have what the OP is drinking. Unfortunately I see no change in USA prices on new “12 series” hot models since summer. This could be the new normal or prices could just stabilize and fluctuate seasonally from this point.

Makes me laugh it’s as if people are willing these prices to drop overnight, not going to happen.
You are not going to notice hardly any difference on the hot s steel models like the hulk, batman,Pepsi etc.And as for the ceramic Daytona it’s wishful thinking as those prices are not going to come down period.
Factor into the equation also is the speculation of the Hulk being discontinued and even if it isn’t it’s just the speculation which can drive prices up.If it is discontinued the whole price increase will kick in again and hype value even more as its now discontinued.
Just get it people,Rolex are very clever and the rapid devaluation of hot models is not going to happen
This wishful thinking phenomena of Rolex prices shrinking overnight is hyped by people who can’t afford these watches in the first place.

It won’t be long until the Chinese roll the tanks through the streets of Hong Kong and Rolex prices go back up.

Hard to say, if you trust chrono24 trends the prices are dropping for a lot of models. They are not trading as high but still well above MSRP.

Price drop is happening gradually. In the perception of the buyers, prices are coming down.
Rolex can only prevent this trend if they cut significantly back their production of their best sellers.

My AD called earlier to offer me a Daytona C...

I told them to call me back in about 3 months to see if I want it, but I will keep them in mind

One of my ADs even offered to buy me coffee so that we can talk watches

Unfortunately I don’t have time for that

Jk jk
