1978 Rolex 1680/8 Gold Submariner Purple Dial + RSC Papers
In the world of old gold these purple dial 1680s hold a special place in my heart. Oozing with personality these early blue nipple dials can take on some crazy colors depending on the light. This example, dating to 1978 comes complete with 90s RSC paperwork. Thick case and original 1680 bracelet (C date code) – 11 links total. Dial is clean and so is crystal.
