For sale is a near mint condition pre-owned stainless steel and 18k Yellow Gold Rolex Datejust. The 16003 was originally sold in 1988 to the Ford Motor Company and includes box, guarantee paper and hang tags. The Datejust features a champagne factory diamond set dial with date aperture at 3 o’clock. The case back is factory engraved with the Ford Motor Company emblem, likely for an award or anniversary. The case is free of any discernable scratches and has sharp even lugs, while the 18k yellow gold bezel remains pristine. The bracelet shows very little stretch for its age, remaining in 90% condition and will accommodate a 7-inch wrist. The watch is powered by an automatic Rolex caliber 3035. Don’t let its subtle appearance fool you, this isn’t “just another Datejust”. The reference 16003 is a rather uncommon one, produced in far less quantities than its 16013 sibling. Combine that with the fact that this comes with box/papers and is factory engraved by Rolex for Ford, it is apparent that this is a rare bird!
