Case and Lug Size Differences Between 3 Versions of Batman GMT Master II
Hello guys
Because of the contradicting information over the net as well as the forum I got confused about whether there is any case size difference between; - 2013 Batman 2013 116710BLNR (with Oyster Bracelet) - 2019 Batman 126710BLNR (with Jubilee Bracelet) - 2021 Batman 126710BLNR (with Oyster Bracelet) According to the previous topics on the forum some said that 126710BLNR (with Jubilee bracelet) had slimmer lugs and case body comparing to 116710BLNR (with Oyster Bracelet), and some said that lugs of these two models are the same but the Jubilee bracelet itself was making the look of the lugs thinner and tells nothing about the case body thickness with the new movement. First I would like to know which of these two different information is the right one. Secondly, I would like to know whether the new (the most recent) 2021 Batman 126710BLNR (with Oyster Bracelet) has exactly same size 1- Case body thickness 2- lug thickness as the 2019 Batman 126710BLNR (with Jubilee Bracelet)? I can accept that the 2021 Batman 126710BLNR (with Oyster Bracelet) is very recent and nobody would not have any experience yet, but according to the Official Rolex Website (Configure Your Rolex) link when you keep moving between the Jubilee and Oyster, the watch size (in terms of lug thickness) appears same on the interface..So I believe Rolex to be very sensitive at giving the customer right information with their product configuration interface at their official website. I would appreciate your responses. |

I believe if you measures the lugs at the end between the 11 vs the 12 it would be fractions of a mm smaller on the 12. I think the lug profile on the 12 over all is slimmer giving the appearance it's much thinner then it actually is.

Batman Returns case is exactly the same as Batgirl case. The OG Batman is different.

You can say that from Rolex Website (Watch Configurator) that the case remains same regardless of the bracelet when you play with the configuration feature? |

Interesting...
I have a 116710 c. 2016 w/ Oyster bracelet. So what is actually being said here? Is the Oyster bracelet different or only the Lugs when compared to the Oyster bracelet used on the 126710? |

When the BLRO was released in 2018 Rolex implied that the case/lugs were somehow different. When people started receiving them and actually measuring them with calipers there was NO difference from the existing LN and BLNR GMT’s other than the size and placement of the springbars. People began swapping bracelets using the springbars that came with that bracelet.
I don’t know why the myth that the lugs were slimmed down or reshaped has persisted, it was debunked by June of 2018. PS: I owned an Oyster BLNR when my BLRO came in. Never swapped or removed bracelets but no visible differences in the case/lugs were present. |

If you search back to mid 2018 you will find a couple of threads where people actually measured them, they were not different.
