Omega Speedmaster Automatic "Reduced" Ref. 3510.50 - Serviced
The Omega Speedmaster Automatic Ref. 3510.50 is commonly known as the “Reduced” because it shares the majority of its design with the larger Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch but in a smaller package. Measuring 38.5mm in diameter, the case shares the same twisted lugs with mixed brushed and polished finishing, black tachymeter bezel, and hesalite crystal as the larger Speedmaster Professional. The dial retains a similar layout to its big brother with triple registers and a matte black surface with white printing and luminous hour markers. Where the Reduced also differs is in its movement, as the watch is powered by the Omega caliber 3220 automatic chronograph movement versus the hand wound unit in the Professional.
This example of the Reference 3510.50 Speedmaster Automatic "Reduced" is in excellent condition and was just serviced in April 2021 by our Omega certified Master Watchmaker. The watch features a beautiful original tritium dial with very attractive patina on the hour markers and hands, along with a 53 million serial number which dates production to the 1990s. Take a look at the photos and our condition description below: Case: 38.5mm stainless steel case in excellent condition with crisp edges, showing only minor surface wear as pictured. Bezel: Original tachymeter bezel in excellent condition with very minimal signs of wear as pictured. Dial/Hands: Dial is original matte black with tritium hour plots in excellent condition with a nice creamy patina. Hands are also original tritium and in excellent condition with matching patina. Caseback: Original hippocampus stamped caseback in very good condition as pictured with alight surface swirls throughout. Engravings are present and crisp including the serial number. Crystal: OEM Omega hesalite crystal in excellent condition with some minor surface wear as pictured. Movement: Caliber 3220 automatic chronograph movement. 53 million serial number dates production circa 1990s. The watch runs great and keeps good time, with all movement functions working as intended, including chronograph start, stop, and return to zero. Movement was just serviced by our Omega certified Master Watchmaker. Bracelet/Strap: Original Omega reference 1469 bracelet with 811 end links in very good condition as pictured. Bracelet will fit up to a 7.5" wrist comfortably. Accessories: None, sold as watch only. Price is $2200 shipped insured FedEx overnight CONUS via PayPal or wire (3% discount for wire). US sale preferred, international sales will pay the cost of shipping. Face to face in the Boston area also welcome. I have many references available. Please feel free to ask any questions.
