Rolex "Prince" Cellini

2014 discontinued but acquired it at AD 2021 new/old stock with stickers and everything. Only Rolex I know of with transparent caseback. White gold, 72 hour power reserve, manual wind. No Cellini name on front dial.

Great watch, congrats! I love those. It’s so unique to have a manual winding Rolex with a display case back. And the engraving on the bridges looks so cool. Good find!

So does this mean the watch was in the store for 7 years? I happen to think this is such a cool watch given how different it is from everything Rolex makes in so many ways.

Beautiful, beautiful watch. The single most interesting Cellini model ever and the only rectangular, deco-style watch that even comes close to the Patek Philippe 5111 (my all-time favorite rectangular timepiece).

Absolutely the coolest Cellini they ever made. I especially like the variant with the sunburst motif on the case sides.

Such a shame they don't do more display case backs. When Rolex does highly finished movements they REALLY do some fantastic work.

Rolex should resurrect some of the previous Cellini watches, including the Prince.

It's such a beautiful watch with a respectable pedigree.

Best art deco design in watch world .

Its not for the "in" crowd ,its too unique .

2018 passed on a NOS YG at an AD .Was a mistake .

Also cool - it looks like it has paraflex shock absorption, which even the Submariners didn’t get until a year ago.

While I’m not sure I’d like wearing that much metal on a leather strap clasp, one must really admire that apparatus. Truly a thing of beauty and so much more interesting than any deployment or pin buckle.

There already are vintage ones, that are the originals, and a hell of a bargain these days.

The Cellini line is so under appreciated.

For this, we should be thankful in these times.

Nice pick up, enjoy.

They are beautiful watches. Cool in that they are the only Rolex with a display case back. Each model’s movement featured decorations specific to the watch, matching dial and case styles. I had the yellow gold model a few years ago. It got more compliments from folks than any other watch I had.

These are so awesome! Manual wind, sapphire case back with lovely movement finishing is so out of left field for Rolex! Also love the Art Deco styling, such a great package overall.
