FS: 1988 Rolex 18K YG Day-Date 18038 Birch Burlwood Dial with Box and Papers

Description: Case: The thick and even 18k yellow gold case. The 18k yellow golf fluted bezel is very sharp showing only light wear from use. Dial: The birch burlwood dial is excellent showing no visible wear. The factory tritium hands are matching. The tritium on the hands has aged to a warm creamy hue Bracelet: The 24 link 18k yellow gold president bracelet is excellent showing only very light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a matching 1988 date code. Accessories: Box, Papers & 2021 Service Papers. Notes: Found in everything from mid-century modern furniture, to Rolex dials, to match grade rifle stocks, burl has long since been a favorite material of woodworkers and artisans. This particular dial resembles that of a shifting and flowing wheat field.
