FS: Mido Oceanstar Powerwind Automatic Mint
Hi all!
Here is for sale a nice vintage Mido Oceanstar Powerwind. Watch is in mint condition. Case is stainless steel and can be considered a jumbo as it has 37.5mm without crown, 40.5 mm lug to lug, thickness is 10mm and 18mm lug width. Lugs have beautiful twisted shapes. Case is unpolished and has no dings. Crown is stainless steel, has Mido logo Crystal is acrylic, has no blemishes. Movement is automatic cal.1147, 17 jewels, keeps time around -7 sec/day. Dial is brilliant here, this one is sunburst silver coloured brushed from the bottom at 6 o’clock which is quiet uncommon, but very nice. Dial has Mido applied logo in center and Oceanstar Powermatic inscriptions. Hour markers at 12, 6,9 are sticks, but all other do represent pyrimidal dots. Dial has tritium lume dots, which match the handset lume. Handset is authentic, lume matches the dial’s lume. Date window is at 3 o’clock, Swiss Made on the bottom. Strap is brand new dark grey DiModel 18mm handmade from genuine leather. This watch looks brilliant for it’s age because it was minimally worn, but the best thing here is the sunburst dial which plays beautiful under the sun light having a range of grey tones.
