For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 39mm Tantalum F.P. Journe Chronometre Bleu. This sale is for the watch with original box, polishing cloth, manual and guarantee card dated to 2011. Tantalum is an alternate metal in watchmaking with similar weight to platinum but is tougher and more durable than titanium. The electric blue dial, which shines in the light with incredible iridescence, features white Arabic hour markers and hands, with small seconds in between seven and eight o’clock. The polished tantalum case is affixed with a smooth bezel and has a sapphire crystal display back that shows off the 1304 manual wind movement. The movement itself is make from solid 18k rose gold and has two mainspring barrels set in series for approximately 56 hours of power reserve. The case is mounted on an OEM blue leather strap with tantalum buckle. The strap can accommodate a wrist size 6.5-7.75 inches and shows minimal signs of use, having plenty of life left.
