For Sale : Super Rare MINT Vintage Day Date from 1979 - COMPLET SET !

I have for sale a mint 5.9 million serial Rolex Day Date. This is
one of the earliest Sapphire crystal Day Dates- a truly transitional
model as Rolex made plastic 1803's until the early 6 million serial.
I can provide photos of 6 million serial plastic Day Dates if need be.
The watch is in pristine condition, the head was very lightly detailed
once by my watchmaker to remove oxidation from the safe it lived
in for 30 years-the bracelet has never been touched. The dial is a
perfect, very rare, chocolate brown Vignette Diamond dial, with 8
brilliants and 2 Baguettes. It is a lighter color in the center and gets
darker as it goes to the edge. This style of enamel dial was common in
Red and Blue, but I have only seen one other in brown in 15 years
of trading. The watch is in magnificent condition and runs wonderfully.
The seals were changed by my watchmaker, but the rest of the
watch consists of all the original parts it had when it left Geneva.
I can provide several references from well known collectors who
have handled this watch who will back up my claims. Just ask Leo :)
The best part about it is that this rare watch is totally complete......

I have the original double box set, booklets, red wax chronometer tag,
matching numbered hang tag, and the original correct matching punched
and dealer stamped papers.

This is a mint, time- capsule, flagship piece of Rolex history from 30
years ago.

I have stumbled upon a life-long dream watch, and I would need to
sell this one to buy it. But if this doesn't sell, I'll gladly keep it.

If you are in the market for a rare, unique, complete Day Date, you
will not find a rarer, or nicer one than this.
