Grnr ---> blro

I posted a couple weeks ago about getting a 126710GRNR from my AD. I had been after a BLRO for almost two years, but getting that piece was still unlikely anytime soon. So, when my AD offered me any other GMT I chose the GRNR, which was my second favorite, and within a couple weeks I had my new watch. Unfortunately, over the next few days a bit of buyers remorse crept in and I couldn't help feeling that I settled. Over for the next few days I decided to shop around and found a dealer with a brand new BLRO who was willing to make a very reasonable deal for my GRNR. Yesterday I received my BLRO, and could not be any happier!

The BLRO is an iconic watch with profound historical relevance so you did the right thing. The GRNR is a newcomer, more of an outlier in the BLROs company, and an acquired modernist taste. However, their scarcity was permitting they command hefty grey premiums so I hope your trade was in your favor or a very very minimal cash injection.

Very nice indeed. Nice picture too. You have the right watch now. The Pepsi with jubilee is the cat's meow. Enjoy and wear it in good health. Cheers!

Congrats! I think the blro is the best GMT in the Rolex lineup and it’s not even close. I’m not bashing the other ones. They may even be easier to wear as a daily. But the BLRO is the GMT.

Congrats! I'm glad everything worked out, and you ended up with the watch that you truly wanted. If you passed on the GRNR at your AD, most likely you would still be empty wristed and still waiting on the Pepsi. This was the shortcut path to your goal!

Enjoy that beauty. Looks great on you!
