We can go out. For groceries, food and work. But say on the weekend you feel like just going for a drive and you are caught > 10km or so from your address - well good luck trying to explain that to the police.
$1500 fine for you. There has been many fines given out already for ppl doing this. I guess thats why Australia is performing one of the best in the world in terms of handling this virus. Our infection rate is < 1% every day for the last 7 days. Shops and businesses will be opening soon as that rate of infection is basically nothing. We are lucky because we are an island so a bit easier to contain and only around 26M ppl. |
