Correct box model number for 2005 Daytona?
Hello guys.
I'm trying to buy a box for my 116520 Daytona (it would be the first modern style green box, which started circa 2005). Do you know the exact number model for this? Regards. |

In the real world there is no real correct box for most all SS watches some come in small or medium boxes watches like the DSSD normally come in the larger box but not always the case.So it's basically whatever box the AD has on his shelf at point of sale, plus the fact the boxes are made in different parts of the world. so say in the UK could be one number, but say in the USA totally different.

This might be tough to identify because I suspect there are many numbers to be correct. When an AD sells a watch he pulls the appropriate style box for the watch from his inventory. He might have 20 boxes of the same size received at different times. I just think you want one that is real, not a fake.

Correct box model number for 2005 Daytona?
Peter said it best.
But here’s some ideas to help narrow down the possible choices. To start your search, begin with the country code on your papers. That will help focus your next steps. Then begin a search on Chrono24 to seek 116520’s with 2005 named as the year. For example: https://www.chrono24.com/search/inde...ccessoryTypes= Narrow your reviews to complete sets. If your country code was North America, narrow further to those sellers. Same if it was Europe or Asia. Or just do a multi-country survey of sellers if you like. Just reviewing the pictures will usually give you a weighted survey of the type of box typically used. Now you have a shorter list and can contact sellers to ask for additional pictures of box bottom where numbers are printed. But I wouldn’t really worry about the numbers for the reasons Peter explained. (I admit this last part is a subterfuge - you’ll be posing as a buyer without truly being one) Here’s a sampling of boxes from the 39 different 116520’s now for sale on Chrono24. I think you’ll see which box type is dominant. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
