No not at all but OP has gotten very sensitive and defensive to the various responses on the thread even to the point of sending me a PM telling me to "grow up." Quite shocking. Yes, it is a forum, you can ask away but people will also put in their opinions, advice, and even sarcasm when you proclaim yourself a serious collector and ask questions like these.

Right, it's a forum for asking questions, answering questions and in general, passing information back & forth. What it shouldn't be is a place to publicly bash someone because you perceive yourself as a better person in public. thats why I PM'd you (and others) on the responses because you were out of line on your response.

I mean I've paid my $ to be a supporter and user here, is this a communist board where only your opinion matters? no. While I might not have the same depth of expertise as you or others here...I'd still do my best to answer a question posed as much as I could without passing judgement on an individual and making it personal. I'd be happy to have a call with you to discuss the merits of social graces.

I appreciate the attempt to discuss social graces but I will pass as there are bigger fish to fry. I never implied I was a better person than you and I answered your questions as well. You are the one taking it personal with the PM's...

So my question to you is WTF mate? you've never had a question before on here?

Thanks for nothing but your condescending attitude MATE.
If you don't know what a proper thread is, let me give you a few points.

Keep the title relevant to the post itself. Your title is "Rolex Daytona New White Face Silver Bezel" - yet this has NOTHING to do with the questions you ask in your post.

Yes this is an open forum but you're asking pointless ridiculous questions nobody here can properly answer. In fact they aren't even Rolex related questions.

Sorry but if you call yourself a "serious collector" but can't figure out this for yourself "help me understand how a watch can be considered new when it's a 2016 model?" then you got better things to worry about.
