National Sales Meeting Snapshot from 4 years ago...

Nothing lasts forever but for a few years this was the best job ever.

Outstanding team and products. A number of WIS types - this is a small fraction of the group.

Definitely not a one brand bunch - everything from Rolex to AP to VC, Panerai and some esoteric stuff as well.

The year after this photo a new management team implemented what I thought were the worst compensation plan changes in history. They literally saddled the top three performers with both higher quotas and lower percentage payouts.

After pleading our case to no avail we all left and went on to better jobs higher up the career ladder at different companies.

That said we haven't been able to recreate the overall magic we had at this company at our new jobs.

Looking back it was great while it lasted and we all remain friends to this day.

Thanks! That was a lot of fun. I was super excited to have finally received the 116500.

Tagged along with my buddy when he bought the Azzuro DJ. Cool AD on Maui. They busted out the champagne and gave us the royal treatment. Our wives were there and they enjoyed the experience too.

The core group have an active WhatApp thread going almost daily. Once we get past the worst of the pandemic we'll probably connect in conjunction with a major trade show.

Really great times - it's nice to be able to look at that and reflect on how lucky we were to have experienced that kind of fun at work.

Initially we were extremely disappointed to have that happen but time has given us a much better perspective on being fortunate enough to have captured lightning in a bottle for a few years. Thanks!

Oh man, I miss in person Sales Kick Offs and Presidents Clubs. It has been nearly a year and a half since I have seen most of my team in person.

Right? Our home office was in Germany so our awards trip was called Castle Club and we had spectacular 5 star trips all over Europe that all involved - castles.

Was amazing while it lasted.

Here's to your next President's Club meeting!
I just retired so I was looking back fondly at a few photos and thought that it would be TRF appropriate.

Thanks you for sharing and congratulations on retiring. In the current environment I am thinking of ways I don't need to work for "the man".

I knew sales-Kickoff very well.
I worked in sales for over 30 years and now I enjoy life.
