Intermittent fasting

I fasted for 45 minutes today and I’m ready to die. How do these people do it?

I combine it with a just over 1.000kcal diet when I wanna lose a lot of weight fast.

It's hard for a few days, feeling hungry and even dizzy, but after that, the body adjusts and you're full of energy and feel no hunger in that time frame

I skip lunch probably five of the seven days in a week.

I don’t consider it intermittent fasting but it works. I’ve held the same weight no matter what I eat or drink for 15yrs.

We're proud of you for your dedication to the concept. I'm guessing you started with 5 minutes and each week you added another 5 minutes. And worked your way up to 45.

A Wookie constitution is still a marvel to behold.

I eat my last meal at around 6:30PM and then don't eat again until about 11AM. Not much of a sacrifice. If we're eating in restaurants or with other people who have breakfast we indulge but 90% of the time I do the 7ish PM to 11AM. Once in a while I won't eat until 6PM to make a full 24 hour.

CJ, baby steps my friend, baby steps. Let's start with a much more achievable goal, say... five minutes?

My work insurance made us do the fat test which is this silly device that’s like a scale with handlebars. It said my bmr is 1700 and something calories a day. So yeah, I’ve gotten the lucky number on metabolism genes apparently.

If I have a bad few days, I skip some dinners. Or sometimes just a protein shake. Works well. Keeps me balanced.

Next time try 46 minutes. It’ll get easier.

Right? You just have to push yourself. Set a goal.

In Oz we don’t need a physical to fly drones but I do require a certificate from my doctor every year to ride my motorcycle.

I memorise the fourth line when i walk in.

Why is it everyone I know makes 5 minutes the default time for any physical endeavor for me ???

Intermittent fasting

Longest run for me was 30 hours
Usually I manage between 14-18 hours quite easy
However I still think that best for my body is exercising instead of fasting.

Cheers !

Have you tried adipose lice? I’ve heard the entire fat loss process is completed in hours.

Instead of lost, we prefer, dances to the beat of his own drum.

And please don't post videos of Chewie dancing. There could inadvertently be children viewing some of these posts.
