Incoming!

I was marginally interested in the larger APs because of my wrist size being about 6.5-6.75" and having a 39mm ROC that I thought was about perfect. But on a recent trip to NYC and the AP boutique I got to try on the 41mm Codes and they fit my wrist much better that I thought they would fit. So I expanded my criteria and after watching reviews I decided that I could probably pull off a 43mm ROO as well. I mentioned the new possibilities to my awesome SA at AP and last week I got the call (actually "the email" but "the call" sounds better).

So on a XS strap (they don't have S) I'm thrilled to have an addition to the family. New Offshore, meet "the family."

Wrist time pre-ROO was 5712 > 5167 > ROC on rubber/leather > ROC on bracelet. All very wearable on an everyday basis except the ROC on a bracelet.

Congrats, looking great and in a good company of watches for sure.... and for reference, as you probably tried all, at that wrist size what was the real world difference between this and 42 and 44mm Offshore models.

I didn't get a chance to directly compare but have tried the 42mm ones in the past. I think the biggest difference is that the 43mm ones are more compact in terms of lug-to-lug measurement so it wears better on a smaller wrist despite the 1mm larger case measurement. The straps may come off the case at a more downward angle too but I'm not positive about that.

Congrats Steve, we have similar tastes as I have a variation of all of yours and I love the 44/3 ROOs, a cut above the 42s, so delighted you've found one for you!

Congratulations!!!

Happy to hear it fits well on you with the smaller strap

Would love to see more pics of how it fits on you from different angles!
