Working on PayPal logistics soon. Full amount won’t be done that way, only initial amount until it’s verified in the US.
Thank you for confirming you're just a troll.

It's clear you weren't even aware of PayPal transaction limits then. Now that I pointed them out, you seem to be backtracking.

So which is it? What is the other mode of payment you plan to use that will cover the transaction in a safe way for both you and the seller?

PayPal for beginning portion and once it’s confirmed to be legit in the US, rest will be wire.

Not a troll, just trying to lighten the mood since everyone in these forums is so up tight 24/7.

This has gotta be the most nonchalant purchase of a 5711 green dial I’ve ever seen

Doesn’t Chron24 have an escrow service as well as a authenticity guarantee?

This is 1 of 2 scenarios. A troll or a scam.

My advice to anyone contemplating this is don’t pay 250k for any watch easily cloned for 500 bucks.

No legit seller in their right mind will ship you a $250,000+ watch halfway across the world with only partial payment.

If people here seem a little serious or uptight, maybe it's because you're about to burn $250,000+?

Anyway, who am I to tell you how to spend your money. All I'm trying to do is to share some wisdom that I've unfortunately learned the hard way through decades of trading luxury watches.

If you want to treat this entire thing as a joke, then so be it.

This is a very interesting thread, wonder how everything plays out.

My first impression is that no seller would send a $250k watch out first and wait for the buyer to examine the watch before receiving full payment, I know I would never do that.

Then goes the huge wire amount of over $200k - I don't know about others but in my experience the banks will definitely need some kind of documentation such as invoice in order to proceed.

Then there goes the customs and duty when the watch is couriered to the United States.

I do want to find out what happens eventually though!

I think the "tell" was when he said he was on his way to Taiwan (which a real buyer would be), and then later said he was "joking." That is really all you need to know...

I'm still anxiously waiting to see how this thread turns out! <just kidding, just kidding>

You don’t have to wait in suspense as his hand has already been played. Banned.

On personal level, I’ve never had to show or tell them what I am buying. The tellers are usually curious tho.

But way easier to just fly there and complete it in person.
