 My new to me 5009j I recently bought this mid 90s Gondolo. It really suits my aesthetic (suit wearing, office based professional, 50’s) It is my second Patek after an early 70s Calatrava I am delighted with it. My big question is would the forum be happy wearing it as a daily (as noted I have desk based job and wouldn’t wear it for sports / outdoors). I had a new'70s vintage Golden Ellipse (maybe a 4226?) and after a few years I couldn't wash my hands without moisture inside. Not sure about the 5009 but get it tested.
