May on the Patuxent River

I spent a couple of afternoons down at the Little Pax river between Annapolis and Bowie Maryland last May, just before moving to the UK. This was one of my fav photography spots back there.

All of these were shot with a 50mm lens

Cheers,
Bruce

Love those first two bridge photos, they're very peaceful.

Thanks guys! Took me two days to get those bridge shots right. With all the branches in the way, my autofocus was going wild. The first day was a total flop. On the second day I shot everything with manual focus.
Cheers,
Bruce

What camera do you have, Bruce? Any filters on the lenses?

I have several actually. These were shot with a Canon 5D. Probably was using a polarizer on some of those shots, but I honestlly can't remember.

Bruce

In some of those pics, you've managed to capture the colour green in all its natural beauty and glory. Superb!!

And you know I love green 'cause it does represent Rolex's colour!!

Yep it was green JJ I know these pics aren't particularly interesting to most. The whole point for me was to practice, and I just liked the spot. I like water piccies

Great pictures Bruce water reflections and nature with trees make great subject matters. And the loan fisherman just put a little bit more interest in that shot.
