Bit disappointed. I’ve been waiting a while and when the AD popped up on my phone I was very excited. I had said I would take either black or steel dial. I guess I haven’t explicitly said I wouldn’t be interested in a diamond dial… I just assumed that we were talking normal markers in our discussions.

Back to waiting, hopefully doesn’t ruin my chances moving forward.

It's understandable to feel disappointed, especially after waiting eagerly for a call from your AD regarding the Daytona. It sounds like the diamond markers weren't what you were expecting or wanting in the new model. It's a shame that there was a miscommunication, but it's good that you know what you prefer in a watch.

Hopefully, this doesn't affect your chances moving forward, and you'll still have the opportunity to acquire the Daytona with the dial of your choice. Communication is key, so perhaps clarifying your preferences with the AD could help avoid any misunderstandings in the future. Hang in there, and hopefully, you'll get the watch you've been waiting for soon!
