Introducing my old, new watch - 16710 GMT Master II

Hi everyone, having lusted and chased after a red/black gmt master II, I’ve finally found the perfect one for me. It’s a 2007 no holes cases, in great condition. Appreciate the wonderful insights from TRF members, really helped with my search. It’s now mine :)

I’ll be taking into RSC for piece of mind.

Have a great day everyone!

Too bad you're missing some holes. But a great score nonetheless! Congrats on one of the most iconic references Rolex has or will ever release.

I like this idea. How difficult is it to swap inserts at home?

Excellent! One of my all-time favourite references. Z serial like mine! Looks like you've got a Roman dial. I've got a stick dial, myself.

Wear it in good health!

I think that depends on how brave you are! I´m far too inept, so would let my obliging AD do it for me. The linked video from Adrian Barker shows very clearly how it´s done on a Submeriner. I´d almost certainly lose the fiddly little spring...

Congrats! After a very long search, I picked one up myself this week. It's a real stunner and I think it the best watch Rolex ever made!
