Actually, there was a TT Blue / Gold & SS 16803 in 1984. That's what my Mondani Submariner book shows.

I think JJ is correct in that the 'gold through the clasp' wasn't introduced till around 2000, but I didn't know that 1984 was the TT debut, cool!
