Icon20 A little vintage

Hola Amigos!! Hello Friends!

I wish to share this new addition to my collection.

I found this lovely little old one some three weeks ago.

It got a 18K gold case, black dial and a manual winding movement, caliber 265.
Reference number 2619. Vintage is circa 1948, I was told, and that puts it in my own birth year. Couldn´t resist taking this little beauty home!!

Hope you´ll enjoy looking some pictures!

Best cordial regards, Abel

Dear Dan:
hello!! Thank you so much for your comment! I´m glad you like this little one!
I guess it is humble, but with a touch of class, isn´t it?

Thank you for your writing Dan! Very cordially, Abel.

Hello Kyle!!
My dear young friend:
You are right, these vintage Omegas can be addicting!!
I well know you love Omegas, as well as Rolex.

That Seamaster of yours looks great, with the day date feature.
I´m glad you got it right now, and can share with us!
Beautiful piece!! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Abel, hope you are well!

That's a beautiful vintage Omega, when are you going to put it on a black matte lizard strap?

Hell Al!! Nice to hear from you!

Well, that looks like a nice touch to add to this little watch. It came with the band you see in pictures, but may be a black lizard will be more attractive indeed.
Will see what I can get.

Thank you for your nice comment, and nice to hear from you.
Very cordially, Abel.

Beautiful, those Omegas make some really nice dress watches. I too have a birth year watch, a Rolex Oyster from 1959. Think it's a 6424 off the top of my head.

Thanks for your comment Widows Son!
Interesting to know you got a Rolex from your same birth year!
May be you can post a nice picture of it to see it.
Best cordial regards, Abel.
