Request to post pics of your most unique piece
Greetings all,
I have been drooling over all these amazing watches here in the gallery so now I ask you all... Can you post a pic of what is in your opinion the most unique piece in your collection? I can't even begin to imagine the kind of pics I'll be able to use as my computers background soon.

I bought this Omega in the 70's new and will never get rid of it. In fact I've promised it to a friend when I pop my clogs.

1924 H/mark case Paul Perregaux 17 Jewel. The inventor of the twin lock a screwed stem system crown, Swiss patent in 1925
Hans Wilsdorf of Rolex grasped that a hermetically sealed case, together with careful fitting of the crystal and a special stem mechanism, would produce a better water proof wristwatch. He quickly negotiated to have the Perregaux patent assigned to him. Wilsdorf then obtained a British patent on October 18 1926,Then Rolex Oyster was born and became a commercial success.. In 1927, a stenographer, Mercedes Gleitze, swam the English Channel with the unheard of accompaniment of a wristwatch –the Rolex Oyster— on her wrist for the entire 15 hour, 15 minute, swim. . PaulPerregaux patent screwed stem system 1925. 1922 Rolex Unicorn. Original Disney Micky Mouse watch not many of these around now

21st birthday gift...
...from my Scottish Aunt Lizzie now dearly departed. Turns out after all these years I still have it and it is a collectible since it was introduced as the Polerouter in honour of the first jet flight of S.A.S. Scandinavian Airways in 1956.

Truly amazing my friends, these are some rare and impressive pieces... we need to have an international meeting of the Rolex Forum Society so we can admire these fine pieces in person... let me just make sure the jet is fueled and I'll just need to get some flying directions from all of you!
Keep those pics coming sil vous plait!
