Gave in Speedy Pro Moon for an Omega Boutique service

Hi, after much thought, I finally gave my slow running Omega Speedy Pro Moonphase to the Omega Boutique here in Sydney some weeks ago with clear instructions that no polishing was to be done. Mentioned a ultrasonic clean and a full movement only service was to be carried out, all in writing. Also itseems the crown and pushers are always replaced irrespective of condition(not sure why) but I get to keep the old ones. Can't wait to see the result, will keep you'll posted.

There are seals in there and is customary to replace them during service.

Thanks George. Wondering if independent watchmakers too do that or it's just a formality to ensure nothing goes wrong and it would have been just fine if only the gaskets/seals were replaced rather than the whole crown and pushers? Not knowledgeable about the construction of these v/s the Rolex Daytona ones.

There was no additional cost for that, was included in pricing for a full service and is mandatory if servicing with Omega. Offcourse, unlike Rolex, I can keep the old parts if I need them.
