I have had several and they have been awesome. Had a WG 118209 with glacier roman, and two 118206's one with glacier roman and one with glacier stick. All traded away for PP's the one left in the stable may be the ONLY watch I would never trade. It's a 18238 W serial. It has a lapis lazuli dial and was given to me as a surprise by my wife two days before we married. I wore when I had the biggest deal of my life and has been back in circulation as I work on something that hopefully over time will surpass that episode in rewards. It not subtle but it is quite comfortable. Maybe if things play out the right way with current endeavors I will buy yet another platinum model.

Love all tne pics here and here is to the DD. 'The day date may not change the world but the people who wear them do'......

Rolex didn't do it right with the "President" The 36 mm is too small, the 41 is to big. The right size is the 39-40 mm.

That is the good sir Otto's YG DDII Champagne dial with Roman Numerals. His pictures and advice helped me settle on that exact watch 3 years ago. Truly a phenomenal piece, as you can see from his picture there!!

All nice, but I'm always amazed how beautifully Rolex's white gold ages. It's my favorite metal on vintage.

You are so right! I compared my 1803 with a brand new 118239 in WG and it was a totally different gold color.
Here are some more pics:

Loving this watch. My only regret is I didn't buy one sooner.
