Hey Day-Date experts/owners, very nice threat. Thanks for the great pics.
I'm about to pull the trigger this week regarding a 118238; here is my question:
There are two versions of the 118238, one wih the old style clasp (e.g. K serial 2002) and the newer versions with the new clasp. Do both versions (I mean evey 118238) do jave the heavy solid links bracelet? Thanks a lot for your help :)

Yes, the pivoted clasp President bracelets do have solid center links.

Sorry, I didn't get what you are trying to say. You mean both clasp versions of the 118238 do have the solid center links? Thanks

Yes starting from 2000 and up they all have heavy solid gold bracelet.
With the new or old style clasp.
I just got myself a 118238 k serial what a heavy gold chunk:)

Like having an LVc and DD in one watch. I also need this watch in my life.
What reference number/year is this, it just bumped everything off my list and became my grail.
Thanks for posting.

It´s a 118238 with one of the newer dial options that was introduced with the 118138.
