GMT Master 2 Pepsi dial 16710 Watchuwant

A few weeks back I asked the forum to suggest A credible retailer since I had a few issues with my last purchase of a 1 6 7 1 0 Pepsi dial I purchased from Watchuwant. I ruffled a few feathers at WUW even having the watch specialist make several comments to protect his interests. It would have been nice to hear back from him when I reached out to him via telephone at the time. However I guess all in time. I just received the watch back from servicing just yesterday and I'd like the forum make its own evaluation on the condition the watch was in when I purchased it. Like I said the buckle cornet was very badly / polished and this was apparent in one of the photographs that was sent to me prior to buying the watch after I raised a flag to it, they agreed it was over polished however still felt it wasn't good enough condition to be worn. At the time when I asked they claimed that the bracelet condition was in great condition, as per my AD however it was also overly polished and in terrible condition the word embarrassing was even used to describe its condition.

I would like to now give the report card on the true condition otherwise to any bracelet or buckle problems. The tube was not fully tightened to the case therefore the opinion of the watchmaker the possibility of a water leak was great. The watch was losing roughly 12 seconds per day. The crystal was not properly centered therefore the cycles was angled incorrectly. Although not numerous in the amount of issues to watch I do believe it raises some flags in terms of whether or not the watch was truly sellable and more importantly in keeping with what was referred to as such a great reputation. I'm not sure if the watch was even properly checked prior to leaving their office by a watchmaker like they told me. Believe me it is not my intention in any way to single out WUW. But more so I feel it important for others to truly understand what can happen when a purchase goes bad and although this particular company had any money back if not satisfied GUARANTEE it is in many cases unfeasible to return a watch, in this particular case due to currency exchange rate and shipping cost as well as duty fees and brokerage fees altogether about $1000 dollars of loss on the part of the customer. I guess what I'm trying to say is when you buy online you're taking a chance and the most important thing is to truly know who you're buying from always buy from a trusted seller and if you have any hesitation don't make the deal even with a full money back guarantee. In my case I ended up with a 2400 dollar bill with tax to replace a bracelet that I never would have thought it needed to be replaced and a complete service that it very much needed.

For me I've learned a valuable lesson with all this. Expect the seller to tell you everything about the content of the pictures.. but nothing that is not seen.

A week ago a mod told you this subject is closed and to continue your quarrel directly via PM. You also said yourself there isn't much point in discussion anymore, which is correct.

Agreed! To the OP, you were given several options and opinions as to what to do. You are a nightmare buyer, and if anything thank you for outing yourself to potential sellers in the future.

In my first thread I was very misunderstood of my intention. For some reason your responded to both threads I'm not sure if you have some vested interest in WUW or if you're affiliated with them in some way by all means if so come clean. When I sent the first thread I had no intention of contacting WUW instead they responded themselves to protect their interest I will apologize for asking them to respond to this thread. But I feel if anyone should apologize it should be WUW for responding to me personally in the last thread. The only reason why this thread was posted is I wish to educate newcomers to the watch buying game and how important it is to ensure you're buying from a trusted seller. I'm well within my rights to do so as for you Knappo1307 I will have you know that I've purchased about 15 watches and in all those purchases I have never had any issues anywhere near the ones I've mentioned I'm glad you had a good experience or so you say but if I've had issues I have full rights to disclose those with the forum.

I am not affiliated with them at all. Thanks again for outing yourself.Edit: Since you're using this great forum, for your witch hunt platform. Why don't you send a pledge to the forum? I believe your rant is worth $25.

honesty is always the best policy

Thanks for clarifying. What you have to say means alot more to me now than it did before nonetheless, from who I choose to buy in the future or not I expect to get what I paid for in a purchase nothing more nothing less than a hundred percent honesty I don't think that's too much to ask for.

Some pics of before and after to substantiate the claim would have been nice right now we're taking the op's word for it.
Also maybe shouldnt have requested them to explain themselves here, but worked it out privately
