Why has Rolex kept the green anniversary colors on the GMT for so long?

11 years is a bit excessive.

Maybe that's the color scheme they like and it has nothing to do with an anniversary anymore.

Rolex does not approach the term 'anniversary' with the intent of a shorter run...just look at the anniversary sub, the LV. It was in production for years.

What and why they do what they do is known only to them.

Green is not an "anniversary color"... Green is Rolex corporate color and has been used in various venues for a century.

If green is anniversary color then Rolex didn't use that color on the anniversary Daytona or SeaDweller..... Therefore is green really an anniversary color? As some other posters have said green is corporate colors

I think it’s actually 14 years. 2005 to present.

Green is a Rolex hallmark but not always a trademark of their anniversary editions.
