Here you go with the original thread for the VICE PRESIDENT... you can see in post #6 where I called that watch the vice-president....just for fun...(I think I might have been the first one...)
then the thread title got changed by Oscar to what I named it "vice-president"....

The original title was something like TRF's FIRST LOOK ON THE NEW ROLEX DAYDATE!!!!

Love mine to bits....
...the one that started it all on a cold wet Saturday afternoon as an 8 year old boy standing hand in hand outside our local AD with my Dad (long story)....not the first watch I bought but the model that began the passion

What a great thread! I love the DD. It is absolutely timeless and classy. Great thread, and its' about time! Nothing compares in MHO.

The "vice president" for me is a rare Stainless Steel model that was only produced probably for a few Rolex employees... I have seen one or two pictures of them.
