You Persuasive Devil Dogs!!!

Think you guys lack influence? Think again. Based on reading so many enthusiastic testimonials from fountain pen owners, guess what I just purchased? That's right, my first fountain pen! After speaking with a couple of different pen shops, they were all in unanimous agreement that the Lamy is a great pen. If I like the experience of writing with it, I have my eye on the beautiful blue Pelikan Demonstrator M205. I ordered the Vista pen (Steve's pen I think) along with cartridges in my favorite blue-black color and am so excited. My mother warned me about people like you, but I just didn't listen!!! (Dangerous) LOL

Congratulations Faith. You are going to love it, they write really well and I love that you can change the nibs so easily, you might want to try one of their italics as it makes handwriting look wonderful!
Can't wait for your review.

Wow 'Devil Dogs' I've never got that compliement before

Anyway, the Lamy Vista (as shown above by shandy) is a great pen, to get you going. There are a lot of different nibs sizes available and they are not too expensive and easy to replace.

The Visa looks pretty cool with the see through appearance.

Yup, they're about $20 bucks. I would love to see it when you get it Faith and of course some sample text...

BTW, do these also need to have the "Nibs broken in" too ??

Among the 80 some odd pens that I have, both of my Lamy's are very memorable writers. When I write with them I always feel a bit strange in that the pens write so well but cost so little!

And the nibs are so easily changed and only cost about $10 each! The also fit my grip / hand very well and are just satisfying to write with!

Congratulations Faith and welcome to the Club! That would be the Fountain pen Addicts Club!
