Does your bezel line up with dial minute mark?

None of my watch 12 o'clock bezel markers line up perfectly with the 12 o'clock hash mark. My friend early 90's GMT is same. Sounds super picky, but under a 'loop', mine are approx 1/2 second hash mark off? 2 came from ADs brand new, so I know dail is not aftermarket. Anyone notice same? As precise as they are, just seems odd?

Darn you! I had to get out the loupe and check!

My GMT II lines up perfectly.
My Sub Date looks like it is...but might be a hair (not a JJ Arm hair) a thin hair off...but even with the loupe it's close.

Yes it's perfect on my Sub - but I did have to reseat the bezel following Jocke's tutorial. It was half a second off when I first bought it.

Thank God my eyes are old and a 1/2 second doesn't bother me.

My "Bluesy" lines up perfectly, BUT my DSSD is not hitting the 12 mark as it should. It's slightly off.

Have been in contact with the local AD, but currently they don't have the tools to correct this on the DSSD - I will though, get it corrected as soon as it is possible.

If I was you I would put the loupe in a draw and forget its there, and just wear your watch for the next few decades in good health, thats far more important trust me.

My GMT II is spot on, but my Sub is off, and it has bugged me since I got it. How hard is it to install a bezel insert correctly?

All mine line up. If not, it's a quick fix by my watchmaker.

To my naked eye, my LV is spot on. When your watch goes in for servicing, as the watchmaker to adjust the insert.

How true. I need not to obsees/compulse about such minor things I am putting the silly loupe in the drawer <slamming of the drawer shut>. It doesn't bug me...........it doesn't bug me....................uh oh it's already started to bug me again.....

If it helps any......... remember, the bezel actually has no relationship to those minute markers you are concerned about.....nothinng....

You never correlate the position of the bezel with any of them, so whether they align or not is simply a personal OCD issue..

Whoa, that is way off. I would take it back to the AD because that would bother me immensely! My IIC is dead perfect, thank goodness.

I don't have a loupe, so it's hard to tell.

It does not line up on my 16710. Used to bug me a fair bit, to tell the truth, but I've overcome it with intensive therapy (got a Milgauss to take my mind off)

I would suggest getting watches with click free bezels!

That means vintage!
