What do you do for a living?

As a n00b, I am not really familiar with too many of you, but I like the crowd from what I have seen.

So how about a brief introduction to where you work. What you do when there. General things like that.

I guess I should go first: Currently, I work at an ISP doing mostly support when things don't work. However, Saturday is my last day. After that I am moving to Florida to follow the girlfriend, who is going to be starting at Disney in the Corporate Ticketing Office. I on the other hand will be unemployed, followed soon after by sweeping floors or I living under a bridge.

You know what I mean, John and it certainly doesn't refer to the folks here.

John, been there, done that. I did accounting, audit and finance out of college and now I am financial advisor for a large US bank. I got totally sick of accounting.

Being a Kiwi, you might not know that a Bananabender is a Queenslander Yes we grow and export bananas. Also sugar and coal. We also make a bloody nice Rum in Bundaberg. I could go on all day...

Sandgropers are from Western Australia as most of WA is a desert.

There are names for other Aussies by the state they come from too, but I can't recall the others at the moment.

Thanks for that update, Steve....but I seriously didn't know what a banana bender was!!

If it's any consolation, I just tried to bend one and it broke into two. My wife and I shared it 50-50!!
