What's the deal with this 702 crown?

I'm trying to find another 702 crown for my '73 sub, and this one is going for a price that isn't that bad. However, when I compare it to the crown on my '73 redsub (3.85 million serial#), it looks different. The Rolex crown doesn't have the three dots below it, like on mine. Is it really a 702 crown? Did the crowns come with and without dots? If there are different versions of it, will it fit the 702 tube I have? And would it look incorrect on my '73 Sub?

the case number of your watch has been produced at the end of 1974.
the correct crown is the 702 ( triplock without external gasket= washer ).
the crown in your pics is a 700 ( twinlock ) that is correct for older watches made in the 60s.
each crown has his own tube so you cannot swap them without changing also the tube.

Thanks for the info. The seller was selling it as a 702, but I guess he was mistaken.
