Your opinion on this Red Sub?
I´m new to vintage Rolex and keen to learn more, much more. The main knowledge area i want to improve is about cases and their condition. What do you think about this Sub? It looks very nice to me, seems as the case is fairly untouched? The bracelet has seen some buffing as i can tell from the crown on the clasp?
The dial, hands and the pearl are matching from what i can see. The insert has fine grey hue to it. I´m not sure about the bracelet, it looks like a newer 93150 bracelet to me?

Nice-looking red - don't worry about the bracelet, which is a newer one, yes. Pretty good dial and cool grey insert. All depends on the price!

An honest red sub. All depends on price. The lume is a little discoloured and uneven on the 12 & 6 markers as already mentioned.
Can't judge the case from those pics. I reckon you could find a better one without too much trouble. Might be worth waiting ...... Cheers Sent from my Droid.

Hard to say mate. I'd like to see better pics of the entire case from all angles first.
Has it been serviced recently? Does it need a new bracelet? Need to factor those expenses in possibly. Boxes are a couple hundred bucks and should have no bearing on your decision. Get the best watch/example you can afford. Sent from my Droid.

Do you have a better picture of the dial?
Any other details, partial serial? |

It´s a 2.9 million serial. MK IV dial. Newly serviced. The price is $11600 approx. converted to USD from SEK. The swedish crown is very strong right now though.

The pictures with the black background do not show details well. You can see what appears to be a partial chamfer on the 11:00 o'clock side.
I would want to see better pictures of the case and dial. I think you are correct that it may be a newer 93150, which is fine. But again, more pictures and details on this one. Also, no accessories?! |

That's a bit pricey, I reckon. Box means nothing really. Need to see case condition now. Better and more pics of the dial and case/case-back would help. Service is good, but, by whom?!
