My quick journey to Doah Watches & Jewellery Exhibition

Hey Guys,

I couldn't miss the chance to be there and meet with my great friends from various brands :-)

I took the after noon flight from Home which arrived Doha @ 4pm. Went directly to the Expo @ 5:30pm (place this year is quiet far)!!.

Well, let me say that Doha Expo is well organized and most of watches & jewellery companies are joined there.

Unfortunately there was no heavy pieces either from PP or AL&S :-((. Pnaerai, AP, RD & JLC has some fine timepieces.

I met with the great friends from PP (Mr. Olivier & Mr. Evyes). From Panerai (Mr. Milvin, Mr. Gaby & Ms. Vanessa). From Ulysse Nardin (Mr. Christoph). From Roger Dubies (Mr. Ramzi). From AP (Mr. Jean). From AL&S (Mr. Vinnoy).

Also met with my Bro Jameel Al-Majed (Owner of Al-Majid Group). And finally I met with our great member here Mr. Gary (aka Oryxs).

Expo closed @ 10pm. I after that spent some time on the lovely Doha Cornish (watching the lovely Arabian Gulf at night was so beautiful). Finally went to the airport to catch the 2am flight. Arrived Home at 3am+.

Some pics from the great event. Hope you like them.

The ap white ceramic bridge is not as great in the flesh as I had hoped,
However the skeleton panerai is incredible. Thanks for the photos and
Insight!

Another great report Khalid thanks, but as usual I have questions, the Quattuor (spelling?) looks an absolute beast! How does it wear? Also, the Excalibur Double Tourbillon, is that Ceramic or DLC/PVD please?

Great stuff, Khalid.

I'm not a fan of skeleton watches in general, but that Panerai does look good.

Nice keffiyeh
