Speedy 145.022 '68 back from the spa!
Arrived yesterday after a movement service. Also had a Priek caseback installed so I can enjoy the view.
Not a fan of the 1039 bracelet, so trying out a couple of kevlar straps with it.

Looks great, especially that last shot of the movement!
If you are interested in a bracelet, I know Otto Frei still stocks the 1171 with 633 end links; I'm thinking about putting my own 145.022-68 on one. It's not technically the correct bracelet but they are a lot better looking than the 1039.

Stunning '68! Mine says "hi." I'm thinking of installing a sapphire back on mine. Sadly, vintage Speedmaster bracelets are terribly made (the reissues are reportedly even worse), but they look handsome.

where di you sent in for service, i have a Speedy 321 but i'm worried to have it serviced by someone who is not expert in this kind of watches. |
