You an early bird or a night hawk?
Was thinking the other day. Used to stay up late but through a few changes in my schedules etc a few years ago, I have now become the early bird. Generally asleep by 11 and up before 5. Funny thing is I work from home and I own the company, so no real need to get up that early. Just become a habit now.

I normally go to sleep anywhere from 11pm-12am and I'm up by 6am for work during the week. Kids don't let me sleep in on weekends..

I would stay awake all night if I could and sleep all day.
My old career allowed me to do that. Now I have to get up at 0645. Awful. |

Very early. Up at 3:45am. Asleep by 9:00pm.
15 years ago I'd be up until 4am and sleep until 11. Kids and marriage tend to change you a little. |

Early morning guy. Also chronic insomnia. Sleeping in is making it to 5:00 AM. Generally up around 4:00 every morning. Go to the gym before work. I do go to bed early. Usually before 10:00 PM.
Early mornings are my favorite time of the day. No one is moving. Can enjoy a cigar and coffee while checking in with TRF on the back porch.

I'm in bed by 11:00 and up by 6:30 PDT. I also work from a home-based office, but login to TRF often!

Reminds me of that old Joe Walsh/James Gang song Funk #49. "Uh, sleep all day, out all night, I know where you're going". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7QfUHk8Sm8

Since I stopped working I have a hard time falling asleep. I' can literally stay up all night if I wanted to. But the worse part is not being able to sleep without tossing and turning. I have never suffered from sleep issues so I'm not sure what's going on lol. I think part of it is due to not having to use much brain power these days so I never truly feel tired.
Trying to keep myself busy with cycling and setting up a marine Reef tank. Don't want to resort to pills that's for sure. Prior to this I was able to sleep anytime lol I know none of this is stress related as I really have no worries currently. |

Night hawk/owl, even if I've been up early... when it comes to sleep, I prefer quality to quantity!

During the week, I wake up every morning and work out at 5:15 and in bed at 10:30 - 11:00.
Weekends I tend to stay up till midnight or later depending what's going on. I can never seem to sleep past 5:15 though |

In bed reading by 9:30. Or at least I try to be.
Up at 5:00 to walk the pups, get a workout in and have my coffee while watching Morning Joe before leaving my house by 6:45. In the office by 7:10. I love this schedule.

Night person. Up at 7 every day and lucky to fall asleep before 1am. I never have been able to adjust to early mornings by getting to sleep earlier.

Wow. Hats off to you sir! I just couldn't function on 4.5 hours sleep.
The odd day maybe, but not as a regular routine. I need my beauty sleep, normally 10pm - 6am. |

Neither really. In bed usually around 10-10:30 and up at 6:00-6:30. Except Saturdays, I typically get up around 5:00am for a long run. I love getting that out of the way so I can enjoy my weekend
