My friend is a chef and often watches the cooking channel here in the U.S.A. There are two very famous chefs in the U.S. that are always on T.V. and when they cook it's easy to see their Rolex's. Bobby Flay, who has a couple of cooking shows wears a Rolex and Emeril Lagasse wears a Rolex and also wears a Breitling.

A lot of chefs wear them, because of the water resistance, bang around qualities of Rolex's. I wish Emeril did not, I can't stand him.

These days, more and more women are wearing Rolex. There was a thread here some time back that showed pictures all these gorgeous women wearing rolex. Well, not all of them were gorgeous, but most of them were!

You have a real cross section of humankind that wear Rolex. For instance, it used to be a much sought after watch by big time criminals, especially the gold $Rolexes. Take a tour of the Hoover Building [FBI] museum in WASHDC. There's glass display cases of them and names of the infamous who they were confiscated from.

I never noticed, im going to start looking, Emiril is cool, but sometimes he tries to hard to be funny..

Emeril sometimes wears a Rolex and sometimes wears a Breitling, but he gets on my nerves because you can't turn on the television without seeing his face. He so overexposed. As far as the 30 minute chick---Rachel Ray goes, I personally can't stomach her and don't think she's even remotely hot. She's flat as a board and annoying. There are even websites devoted to bashing her she's so annoying! I prefer my chefs with a larger rack....I like a little more meat with my potatoes.

Bill Clinton (when he visited Australia as POTUS) didn't wear a Rolex. Submariners seemed to be on every wrist of his USSS detail. When I met Bill he was wearing an Oris 'Bird' or Charlie Parker (Could inspect it close enough to confirm). FLOTUS had a datejust.

JFK had a Rolex bought for him by Marylin Monroe with a personal inscription engraved on the caseback. I don't think he ever wore it, especially in Jackie's presence! I believe it was auctioned not so long ago and was big bucks.
