Tudor GMT - Yay or nay?

Hi guys, got the call to pick up the Tudor GMT but I'm sitting on the fence. What are people's experience of them so far (apart from the date issue) ?
Thanks

Get it. A great watch and reasonably priced.

I really liked mine but ended up trading in towards the new Omega SMP as I personally use a timing bezel far more than the GMT function.

My Tudor GMT was on the leather strap that was always slightly too loose or too tight for me. Being very top heavy it probably would have worked better with the bracelet (which was not available at the AD when I purchased).

It’s great piece, my favourite gmt out there atm. Mine gets loads of wrist time. You won’t regret it.

Got mine a month ago and love it as much today as the day I picked it up. It is an absolute bargain for the price and I personally prefer it over the Rolex GMT based on the less flashy bezel insert, the larger case and diameter, and the slightly larger dial with smaller indices. Prefer the non-cyclops date window as well. You will love it.

I wouldn't hesitate a second it's a great GMT that has caused me to downsize a bit.

Right now my SS Rolex collection is taking a major back seat to this watch. I am sure that will change back after some time. Right now I am totally enjoying the aluminum bezel and matte dial.....its a nice change up and cool piece. Its chunkier than the sub and Rolex gmt, but I love that about it.

Which strap is that? Looks terrific. I have an Everest from my Black Bay Blue that I haven't tried on my GMT yet. Wondering of this is the same strap?

I will say that I have not seen this watch in person. With that said, I just can’t get past the snowflake hands. So, it’s a “no” from me.

YAY!!! I haven't taken mine off since getting it in June..... well besides the three weeks it was away getting the date issue fixed. I have actually been stopped and asked about this watch more than any other I wear.

I had the same initial reaction, but as soon as I saw the watch in person, my wallet was out and I left with it. The snowflake hands are a non issue; big close up photos are misleading. I suggest answering the call and seeing the watch in person. Great watch!

It looks great. It’s as close as you get to an older Pepsi without buying a NOS 16710 for maybe 5x the price.

And if you don’t love it you really won’t lose a cent so you have nothing to lose. You obviously like it so go for it!

Thank you, this is a Crafterblue in navy blue. It was the only decent dark blue that I could find and I enjoy it with one exception. It has a metal keeper that can pinch while inserting the tail of the strap. I'd love to test an everest you should try it out!

I had it for a while and loved it but ultimately traded it for a 116710LN because I couldn’t get the right fit for my wrist with the bracelet. It’s a shame that Tudor doesn’t provide more micro adjustment positions in the clasp and/or a half link. Other than that, I thought/think the watch itself is fabulous. Readability is absolutely superb, bezel colors are great. It’s a tad large, both lug to lug and height, so something to keep in mind. The 116710LN is more elegant IMO and perhaps a bit more versatile as it tends to dress up and down effortlessly, whereas the Tudor seems more at home in a casual/sporty environment. It’s a great watch, though, and if I had been able to achieve a proper fit, I would have happily kept it and worn it often.

I love mine, specifically the snowflake hands. I used to dislike the snowflake but now I'm smitten with them. I have the bracelet but also bought the leather strap with deploy for a change-up. The watch is offered at an exceptional price but it will surely go up in the near future so If your interested I would not hesitate

Oh ok, didn't realize it was dark blue. Looks great. I should have blown up the pic and I would have seen that. That is strange that they use a metal keeper?

My GMT is on the leather strap, so my plan from the start was to keep it on leather in the cold months and switch to the Everest strap in the hot (ie. sweaty) months. It looked great on my Black Bay. Looking forward to putting it on the GMT in a few months.
