Watches Storage/Box

Hi,

I've try to search on the forum but I wasn't able to find answer.

I'm looking to find a good watch box for my watches so I am wondering if you have some suggestions, pictures, websites, informations, advices ?

I've found some interesting, there's a lot on amazon but I'm afraid they are cheap and will not look as good as they look on picture. On the other side, I've search in different jewelry and I only find one store who had only one one watch winder . In all the places I've been, all the SA told me to look online.

So I thaugh : lets use this great community to get tips before buying something I might regret.

What do you use as watch box, watches storage, winder ? Let's show us your instalation !

Forgive me if a thread like that exist !

I use a Wolf watch roll/tube to keep the current rotation in the safe instead of using the Rolex boxes. I dont use a watch winder as I tend to rotate my watches and wear them as opposed to simply soring them, and as a result, I dont personally see the need for winders.

Everest also make some great watch rolls and there are loads of threads on here that show some of the collections and the storage solutions they employ.

x2 for Wolf. High quality box and rolls at decent prices and you can get some good deals if you search around on amazon, overstock etc.

It’s a Wolf for me too. Both for a Watch Roll and Watch Box.

I use Caddy Bay collection for years, you can find them on Amazon. Good quality, has a glass top and side note fits in safety deposit box like a glove for me. Already have 4 of those.

I am in favor of the Buben & Zorweg Vantage Series. Boxes come in 2 styles and 2 sizes. Matching winders if you fancy them. Amazing quality.

I currently use a Pelican 1400 set up for 12 watches, but I'm going to have to upgrade soon.

Dunno if this is allowed, but I worked with Peli directly to create a specific watch protection case.

I've been using a custom made 6-watch box for years, but I finally got tired storing 2 watches in a ̶s̶o̶c̶k̶ watch roll, so I just ordered a Rapport London 8 watch box.

Rainer (finestboxes on ebay) makes great watch boxes. I own the 3 and 6 slot one (but he currently makes the 1, 6, 8 12 and 18 boxes)

Both are pictured below:

A humble case for the humble watches. $40 at Amazon.

Those safes look splendid, but I wonder how fireproof these are? There is a reason most safes are fully coated metal on the outside, and not entirely decorated with flammable material.

I don't know how fireproof they are, and no offense, but I don't intend to set mine on fire to experiment!

To be fair, though, these boxes are not meant to be (nor are they advertised as) safes. B&Z has different product lines for actual safes (with appropriate specs, I guess).

True, I forgot to mention I clicked to the Compact safe series. It's all leather on the outside, and there's no mention of fire resistance anywhere on the site. Sure, they look great, but I'd rather have a functional safe than a pretty one for my watches.

Was released a month or two ago, but sold out almost immediately. Re-stock next week.

Glad you asked! Just got this in yesterday and was looking to show it off. Bought from case club, it’s for 12 watches. In work on filling it up.

I recommend https://www.amazon.co.uk/LELADY-JEWE.../dp/B07L2YH8FG Only holds two but I'm contemplating buying another. No need to spend watch money on boxes Imo but the other cheap lacquered stuff or bad vinyl with the crap hinges and little ribbon thing around this price point are horrible.
