Prices on Pepsi BLRO

Hey guys, looking for the elusive Pepsi. I have pretty much given up on buying one at MSRP. For those that owns one can you please share how much did you buy it for including when and in which city?

In US/Canada I'm looking at double the prices in grey market and wondering if this is normal for the BLRO.

I don't suppose stock will replenish soon?

In one Toronto AD alone the waitlist for the BLRO is 200+ long

Thanks for the insight.

$11,978 CAD from my GTA AD in March 2019.

The "waitlist" is an imaginary concept at most ADs. My AD says there's no waitlist in the traditional sense of you just calling and getting on it (and they're upfront telling others about it). I asked in January 2019 and got it 7 weeks later, and yes I have a good relationship with this AD.

I should add that it is possible to get it as a first time purchase from an AD with some luck and the right timing.

IMO I'd just wait a little longer as the supply of them can only increase, and prices are falling in light of possible storms on the horizon.

It’s a rare bird in some parts, but there’s hope ... we have seen more incomings here as of late.

Good luck

Bought at MSRP from my AD in Houston. Asked to be considered for it last February, got the call (text actually) in January.

Paid $11,978 CAD from my GTA AD as well but in October 2018, received the 4th allocation from the AD. At that time, they had received one in May, July, August and mine in October 2018.

Wow a discount? That’s awesome. Hardly ever hear about stainless steel discounts.

I’ve personally met the owners of the Toronto ad’s in the big malls. Unless you are a vip who spends a ton you aren’t getting anything at all, don’t bother. The only place you have a chance is Royal De Versailles in Yorkville. If you want to give it a try DM me and I’ll put you in touch with a sales person I know there. They don’t have waiting lists or vips. It’s first come first serve, they will text you and if you get there first it’s yours.

Best of luck

It’s the only place I’ve seen it, when I was there I had a chance to get an anniversary sea dweller, couldn’t get in quick enough. They have a AP as well, no deposits allowed either, you just have to be fast and get in when you see that text!

Sit tight, that is a newly released watch being made in 1000's. The price has already dropped on the secondary, and should continue to do so. I want one but am going to keep an eye on the market over the next 12 months. Give a small premium over MRSP is okay in my opinion, but not 100% mark up. 10-20% would be more realistic for me.

I grabbed for retail from an AD

Hmmm... has the price really dropped ? I’ve been seeing greys listing this for 17k USD still for new 2020 models.

As well, is this piece going to be produced in the 1000s? ? If that’s the case I’m not sure how these prices will hold , maybe the Pepsi will follow the trend of Batman’s and move down to the 14k range ? What do you guys think?

I have a feeling that they’re trying to have the Pepsi in SS daytona territory.

I would refrain from purchase in the next 2-4 months unless you cannot hold yourself. The stock market is crumbling at the moment and could be on a verge of collapse or massive correction at least. The situation in China and HK could also mean more BLRO at the local AD in the upcoming months, or at least much lower prices on the gray market.

I have a hard time seeing that. I think the main reason for the big demand after the BLRO right now is that it has been out of production since 2007. It is an all time Rolex classic, so it is no mystery why there is huge demand after it re-entered production.
The BLNR has been produced since 2013, so while the model with jubilee bracelet and movement was new, the watch had been in production since 2013. This is, in my opinion, why the prices have been falling, after the initial hype of the new model.
I imagine the same will happen with the BLRO. It might take longer or shorter than the ~6-7 years it took the BLNR to go down a little in price, but I think eventually also the BLRO will settle at a lower price point than what we are currently seeing.

You've been lied to. They do have "lists", "VIPs" and do bundle deals. A good friend was on the "list" for a BLRO with them and was asked for a deposit, all while he was being lied to that they didn't get any in the time I know they produced one on the spot for a bundle deal and a "VIP". A known grey was sold a SS Daytona bundled with a Lange as another example. A good friend who asked about a Hulk was told "no chance we don't get them, but if you buy some jewellery, one will magically appear". And on and on these anecdotes about RDV.

In the earlier days (mid 2018) they did put certain pieces out in the case, such as Subs, BLNR, SS SkyD white/black. But they've stopped doing that AFAIK.

You got a discount? The BLRO was $9250 from its initial release until the beginning of this year when the price increase made it $9700.

$8950 was the price of the BLNR on oyster bracelet.
