It's turkey season in Tennessee right now. Sent this photo to a fellow watch enthusiast and TRFer recently. Essential turkey hunting gear:

Always loved the Explorer's smooth bezel. It looks particularly great on a sunny day in the woods though. The way the bezel reflects the canopy of the trees overhead is just a beautiful thing.

Do you use the OEM strap and clasp on this? If so, how do you like that combo? Any issues with it being uncomfortable, wearing the strap prematurely, looking odd, etc.?

I have looked at the non-moon version of this watch several times:

It's the only Cartier that's ever really spoken to me, but it sometimes seems to scream at me. The big thing holding me back is the way the strap and clasp interact. It's been a little while since I've handled one, but I remember it being odd. I believe the strap folds back underneath itself instead of just passing through and sitting underneath the other side. At any rate, it seemed like a clunky design and one that I did not like. Curious to hear the thoughts of an owner. Thanks!

I believe this is how all Cartier straps are. Awkward to set up, but quite comfortable on the wrist.

Cool shot of the Explorer. Looks like it has a fluted bezel from the reflection.

Thanks! The way it reflects overhead trees in the sun is really something. Here's another example from a year or two earlier:
