I'm disappointed with the new Sub prices. They're just too high. Thanks for sharing. I personally would like to see the additional model prices.

Agreed. It'll be interesting to see when the stop selling, though. They've now passed the elusive $10K mark MSRP, which I thought would be a significant stumbling block, but we'll see.

I agree. They should have stayed under the 10k mark, but these numbers are right in line with the price for the TT GMT IIc (when buying retail obviously).

so..the SS Subs will be in the realm of $8000 considering the SDDS was $9250 MSRP...just a guess...
quite pricey...

The current steel and gold Sub is $9300, the new ceramic is $1100 more at $10400. I would highly doubt that the SS Sub would be $2000 more than the current model. There's a lot more gold in the bracelet of the new ceramic steel and gold Sub to account for the increase in price.

I'm guessing the SS Sub will be around $7k.

Those are MSRP, and we all know that precious-metal Rolexes get much better discounts. I would also bet that the price of the new sub incorporates some sort of price increase because that sub won't be out for another two or three months.

Well, as in any market, having higher new prices keeps the secondhand prices higher also, so think of it this way, Rolex has just ensured that your collection has not been devalued

Really?

Want to check price trends on the GMT-IIc? Secondhand values have plummeted, and a price increase has done nothing to sustain a reasonable price level.

Yes. It would be pretty certain that the current low prices are due to the world economic situation right now and are only temporary.

Rolexs' price increase was made before this situation really had a grip. S/H prices will return to normal, and normal can only be based on the then new prices.

So now is a good time to buy S/H in SS.

Actually, I don't think the prices are THAT much higher than the current 16613 Submariners considering the upgrades. Solid center links in 18k YG, Glidelock clasp, ceramic bezel, parachrome hairspring, just to mention a few.

I just want to see what they go for with discounts. If I can get a TT ceramic sub in the $8,000 range, I'm pretty sure that will be my next watch.

For $1100 more than current list price, that's not a bad price in my opinion.
