Picked up the new 41mm Sub today!

I was fortunate to get "the call" on a new 41mm Sub and pick it up today. I already have a 16610 but will give that one to my son when he graduates Medical school and keep this one for myself. I have to say that I really think they got this one right. It looks and feels great, has tremendous wrist presence, the glidelock works perfectly, the band is a huge upgrade, the ceramic bezel is great, AR crystal is very legible.....and all in all I think this is the best Sub they've ever made. Very happy to get this and it will surely get a lot of wrist time!

Congrats. Same here....on the waitlist sine last Sep and spoke to the AD on Sat and he promised me he'll get one before July this year (10 month waitlist). He also put me down for the LV green bezel back then so fingers crossed ...

Congratulations OP, looks great, very little beats that visit to the AD to pick it up. Wear it in good health.

@brkn Visit and reach out regularly. Let them know why your interested. Talk watches in general, general conversation. You want to stand out to the point of them knowing and recognizing you when you walk in.

Wow! Big congrats. Have yet to see a 12 series look bad on a wrist. It’s such a perfect rendition of a modernized Sub. Cheers.

Nice congrats..

picked up my 124060 last weekend. Agree it's improved.I didn't really ask for one but it was a consolation prize for the OP41 that got away.

Appreciate all the congratulation.....my point really is that sometimes when they update a classic it's not as good as the original. Sometimes they improve it and get it right. With the new Sub I think they took a 69 year old design and modernized it without losing the essence of what it should be. I'm very happy with it and it will get a lot of wrist time. It's really all you need if you had to only own one watch. I'm not so practical and will keep collecting others because I can't help myself but if I could I'd not be on this forum.
