Another real or fake thread. Double red
It appears the spring bar holes are not symmetric, is this just an expensive fake with a gen movement?
This is on ebay right now. What say you? |

Could be a poor polish job. Dodgy caseback, and case engraving.

I saw it as well and questioned its desirability.
Doesn’t excite me.

A 5.4 million serial being a double red, I don't think so.

If my memory serves, 5.298*** million latest full set DRSD I've seen with the different (GW style) caseback of course.
The dial is also fake I'm pretty sure. It has the look of the rare mark 1 'double pink' eg same size SEA-DWELLER and SUBMARINER 2000 Text, but coronet and spacings of later dial etc ! This is very iffy as such!

Ive seen misaligned date wheels, but is that the edge of the right side of the wheel exposed in the date window?

So many things wrong with that one.
Here's a great resource if you're in the market for a DRSD: http://drsd.com/watch-info/double-re...rsd-dials.html |
